Good design is in Gabriela Artigas' blood. Growing up the child of architects in Mexico City, her first piece of jewelry was a cuff made of molded toothbrushes. Of her design methods Artigas says, "It's not about inspiration, but about the conversation one has with materials. It's about the process of sitting down and playing with surfaces, shapes, textures and how these relate to the body." Gabriela participated in GenArt's Fresh Faces in Fashion in Los Angeles, and currently lives and works in LA.
