I am constantly inspired by the runway...

Q. Why do you make jewelry?

A. Because I have to! If I go even a couple days without designing a new piece of jewelry, I go crazy!

Q. Have you always enjoyed making jewelry?

A. No- I didn't touch a bead until my 20's! Making jewelry wasn't even on my list of things to try. I was much more into "real art". I always scoffed at crafts. I now have to eat my words because I now know jewelry is an art. I love and appreciate the entire process.

Q. How closely do you follow the trends?

A. I am constantly inspired by the runway and always excited to see what other designers are doing. In the end though, I do what I want. I don't make jewelry unless I would wear the piece myself. I just hope that other people will like it too!

Q . Who are your favorite designers?

A. In no particular order- Jeanne Lanvin, John Paul Gaultier, Cristobal Balenciaga, Coco Chanel, and Vionnet

Q. Do you wear your jewelry?

A. To be honest, not a whole lot, but I'm in the studio 24/7. When I do get out, I love wearing my jewelry. Very rarely do I wear a piece more than once. Since I'm constantly designing, I always have new things laying around that I have to test out!

Q. Who wears your jewelry?

A. Anyone who likes to.....have fun with their wardrobe, loves mixing it up and doesn't mind standing out in a crowd. Oh, and you absolutely have to love big earrings!
