These, combined with individual flair, and inbuilt knack for style, and a policy of using only premium Italian leather guarantees each bag bares charm, versatility, and character and all the other ingredients to satisfy every woman’s bag fetish. The foundations to the Meli’ Melo’ label are based on the philosophy of creating a collection of accessories that are sophisticated, stylish, and yet practical. The 04/05 collection is made up of five unique models, each serving an individual purpose ranging form every day life through to evening chic – the highlight of the collection, the ‘BB Bag’ features a set of unique inverted handles which set to revolutionize the concept of ‘bag carrying’ forever more. Sculptural yet unstructured, Melissa’s bags blend day and evening for confidence and focus.
Melissa has her sights set on taking the current collection to new highs, not only experimenting with new materials and designs, but also plans to branch further afield into other accessories, like even bigger versions of the BB Bag like a travel one, special linings and many other innovations.
