Sarah's designs are a product of inspiration colliding in mid-air like the sounds of loud music and jet engines, refined by one thousand years of European culture. Born an American, but raised in a liberal setting of 1970's Stuttgart, Sarah was deeply influenced by the complicated beauty of people's personalities, languages and cultures.
Sarah's mother, an artist, foretells Sarah's future with a story. Whenever Sarah would create a painting or an object, she would complete the project with the creation of a bag or envelope to hold the artwork.
Finishing up school and settling in the hills of East Los Angeles, Sarah worked as an interior designer before focusing full-time on her bags. Her bags, much like her life, reflect a sophisticated blur of old world and new. Distinctive charm and unexpected brilliance much like the cities which shaped her psyche.
