Samantha Treacy was born in England and raised in Ireland. She graduated from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. Samantha served as Vice President of design at Diane von Furstenberg and head designer at Jill Stuart. Samantha Treacy launched her line in fall of 2002. She is a New York based designer.
As featured in Vogue magazine, Samantha has collaborated with internationally renowned artists Anna Gaskell, Nathan Carter, Liam Gillick, and Carsten Holler in designing textile prints for her line.
Her collections have an easy glamour. A strapless dress is cut with a voluminous skirt and sexy tops and camisoles are rouched or blousy, nothing is skin tight. The collection could be described as "delicate sexy".
